Federal Police chief Luiz Fernando Correa is to resume duties as Security director of the Rio 2016™ Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
In February, a federal court of Justice rejected a complaint filed by the Federal Attorney General’s Office requesting public legal action regarding Correa’s past administration as the national secretary of Public Security.
Given this context, Correa and Rio 2016™ understand the director can resume his duties as head of the Security department.
